Humor - treatment for Stress

It is said that the conjecture we laugh at something funny is because we hear the truth. Comedy, in a way, is the most serious of all dialogue!

There is humor based on the distinct

"I have never been convicted or even been accused of being bright. There is insufficient evidence."

"Your elevator does not go all the way to the top."

"I said for some conjecture population do not seem to like me, you Fathead, didn't you hear me the first time?"

"No, I have never belong to any organized political party. I have been a Democrat all my life." - Will Rogers

minister, after weaving down the main road in his car and being stopped by the town
constable: "Officer, I was drinking water out of that bottle."

officer: "What you have in that bottle is wine, not water."

ministser: "Alleluia, He's done it again!"

There is humor based on deliberate misuse of language or logic.

"Don't ever misunderestimate me." - George W. Bush

"You can fool some of the population all of the time. Those are the ones you want to concentrate on." - George W. Bush

"Managing a great team was 80 percent player talent and 60 percent managerial genius." - Casey Stengel

weather forecast: "Due to a deepening tropical retirement we can expect intense scottered thundershatters. It may also rain hail-sized golfballs."

"When you come to a fork in the road, take it." - Yogi Berra

question: "Should I do this or do that?"

answer: " Yes."

"Let's be reasonable. We'll do it my way."

"Heads I win and tails you lose."

There is humor based on exaggeration.

doctor: "That wart on your nose needs to come off. It is precancerous."

patient: "Could I get a second opinion, would you mind?"

doctor: "Heck no, it's ugly too!"

"The fog is so thick that the continent is cut off from England."

" I run so fast sometimes I get to second bases ahead of my shadow." - Satchel Page or Pee Wee Reese

There is humor based on false compliments and duplicate messages

"You sir, are a brave man. Not every person has the courage to whine and whimper in public."

"I'm sorry for constantly running down my wife's cooking. Give her credit. After all, she broke the dog of eating off the table." - Red Skelton

"Those who are all wrapped up in themselves come in small packages." - Benjamin Franklin

"You must be a big wheel because you keep going in circles."

"Anthony Eden is like an over-ripe bannana: all full of black spots on the outside, soft and squishy on the inside." - Winton Churchill

Churchill to Lady Astor: "You, madam, ar ugly."

Lady Astor to Churchill: "You, sir are drunk."

Churchill to Lady Astor: "But in the morning I will be sober."

Lady Astor to Churchill: "Sir, if we were married I would put poison in your tea."

Churchill to Lady Astor: "If I were your husband I would drink it."

There is humor which uses stories to make the point.

A painter went after the compact to paint the church. He planned to siphon off some of the paint and sell it on the side. The plan worked well: he got the compact to paint the church inside and out. He kept thinning the paint and selling off buckets of good paint. The plan was working. Nobody noticed and he was getting rich.

Then one day a huge dark cloud formed over the church. It began to rain, inside and covering of the church until every last drop of new paint had been washed away. Next, the cloud parted to allow a very engaging beam of light to come down from the cloud to the panter grovelling face down in the mud, terrified. A voice came down the light ray and it said: "Repaint. Repaint. Go and thin no more."

The moral of this article? Humor goes a long way towards defusing tension and stress. Use it liberally, both at home and at work. When all else fails, say something funny.

And, oh yes, make sure the humor is appropriate. Don't be telling seemingly funny death stories at wakes and don't be telling unintelligent boss jokes when your vice president is trying to give you guidance about enhancing your performance!

Above all: never, ever use sarcasm. Sarcasm while funny, also hurts and so it is never appropriate. Humor is supposed to help us laugh, not hurt.

Do you know about - Book present "Imperfect Justice" by Jeff Ashton

Casey Anthony Sentenced! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

Sometimes, truth is a lot stranger than fiction. Do you remember where you were at 10 Am on October 3, 1995? I remember riding around with a co-worker awaiting the verdict of what was hailed as the "trial of the century"-the O.J. Simpson double-homicide murder trial. Had one been orbiting the planet when Oj was declared "not guilty," I am quite sure he would have seen the earth tremble a bit.

What I said. It isn't outcome that the actual about Casey Anthony Sentenced. You see this article for home elevators anyone need to know is Casey Anthony Sentenced.

How is Book present "Imperfect Justice" by Jeff Ashton

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Casey Anthony Sentenced.

In spite of what seemed like safe bet motive and plentifulness of culpable evidence - ultimately, Oj was acquitted of any criminality in the death of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman, an aspiring model who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. [As an aside, justice caught up to Oj Simpson in December 2008 when he was sentenced to 33 years in prison for armed robbery when he attempted to "reclaim" sports memorabilia at gunpoint.]

Jeff Ashton, who served as lead prosecutor against another celebrated murder suspect-Casey Anthony-has written a no-holds-barred account of the trial that shocked Florida in Imperfect Justice. In 2008, Casey Anthony was charged with the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. Although she had reported Caylee missing, Casey's lies and malfeasance depicted her as a mother who had grown tired of the responsibilities of raising a child. Instead, it appeared as if Casey Anthony wanted to be the consummate party girl...even emblazoning a tattoo on her back indicating "Bella Vita" (meaning "Beautiful Life") that she got weeks after Caylee died.

Ashton shares the prosecution's case in what should have been a slam-dunk conviction against Casey. In just under 24 hours of deliberation, however, the jury acquitted Casey of any criminal involvement in her daughter's death. The shock and outrage felt by the social was the fodder of all the news agencies outside the case. As Casey Anthony was whisked away under cover of darkness to a new life, there seemed to be very wee justice for Caylee. Maybe the earth trembled once again as the verdict was announced in July 2011.

Imperfect Justice reminds the reader, in spite of not getting a guilty verdict, the many injustice was that a child was killed and discarded like coarse garbage. Ashton shares the journey made by investigators into the grand amounts of lies Casey told; the changing nature of Casey's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, and the problems their inconsistencies caused the prosecution; and his frustration of Jose Baez, lead defense attorney for Casey Anthony. A full color-spread in the middle of the book includes pictures of Casey partying, the car that smelled of death, and varied shots of the Anthony's home.

Since Ashton postponed resignation for six months to close this case, you have to put up with a wee grandstanding and self-aggrandizement. Apparently, Ashton was one of the first attorneys to be complex with Dna forensics; and he styles himself as the quintessential science nerd. In spite of a wee peacock press, after reading the details of the prosecution you will be shocked that Casey Anthony was found not guilty.

Rest in peace, Caylee Anthony, perhaps some day the equilibrium of justice will finally vindicate your untimely death.

Do you know about - 7 Lessons From 2008's Biggest transportation Blunders

Casey Anthony Sentencing! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

As you think back over your pro activities while 2008, you are likely to remember your most certain communication blunders:

What I said. It isn't outcome that the real about Casey Anthony Sentencing. You see this article for home elevators an individual want to know is Casey Anthony Sentencing.

How is 7 Lessons From 2008's Biggest transportation Blunders

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Casey Anthony Sentencing.

*You called a gatekeeper by the wrong name

*You mailed a letter to a prospective client, then learned you had sent it earlier

*You told a joke that offended a prospect

*You failed to consequent up with stock data you had promised

*You forgot to make a scheduled sales call

*Your Power Point presentation failed technically

It's natural that those bloopers embarrass you. However, because you kept track of major newsmakers while the year, you discovered that even citizen with the top public profiles and credentials stumbled in their communication efforts, too.

Hopefully, in recapping your own faltering communication steps, you learned some lessons-and will apply them in 2009. From my steady notice of major events, here are the top 7 worst communication blunders of 2008:

1. Casey Anthony claimed innocence in her daughter Caylee's disappearance, even though Casey waited a month to description Caylee as missing from their Orlando, Florida home.

Why the blunder was so awful: Any parent knows that a delay in reporting your child's disappearance would be unthinkable for a mother. The lesson: citizen won't believe you if your statement or performance doesn't seem logical. Aristotle called this factor logos, and said it was one of the three great tools of persuasion, with emotion and the speaker's character being the other two.

2. O.J. Simpson's five-minute courtroom speech at his December 5 sentencing in Las Vegas

Why the blunder was so awful: Even if what he said was true--that he had no idea he was harming anyone or breaking the law--his timing was very bad. The verdict had come in, and the judge had made her decision about his sentence. His statement might have had an impact while the trial, but was useless now.

The lesson: Timing your message is a must. Even the right thing said at the wrong time makes only a minimal impact.

3. The auto industry's big three leaders request Congress for huge bailouts, yet flying to D.C. In their underground corporate jets Why the blunder was so awful: Owning a underground corporate jet doesn't coincide with most people's plan of financial destitution.

The lesson: Your nonverbal actions must be consistent with your spoken message. Ralph Waldo Emerson said it well: "What you are speaks so loudly, I cannot hear a word you say."

4. Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden referred to John McCain as "McLain" while a speech in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Why the blunder was so awful: It seems ludicrous for a vice presidential candidate to forget the last name of a major opponent. Worse still, the mistake added credence to Biden's well-documented prestige for gaffes.

The lesson: Biden recovered with quick wit: "You see, I don't even recognize him any more." Keep Biden's bounce-back in mind. Tasteful, spontaneous humor can turn a blunder into a memorable advantage.

5. President Bush trying to assure Tv viewers in September that the U.S. Economy is sound

Why the blunder was so awful: Even while he spoke, unemployment numbers soared, companies filed for bankruptcy, and the stock market plunged hundreds of points daily.

The lesson: Even a starting debater knows not to make a general statement that contradicts very certain facts. Stick to what you can prove with relevant, current data.

6. Fred Thompson's listless quest for the presidential nomination

Why the blunder was so awful: Weeks of publicity and fanfare preceded his announcement, with the prospect that this complete actor and politician would sizzle. Instead, he fizzled, with infrequent appearances and bland statements when he did show up.

The lesson: When you start a project, you must voice the same level of zest and enthusiasm citizen expect from you before the launch.

7. Hillary Clinton's claim that she had endured an ambush of  sniper fire upon her coming in Bosnia in 1990.

Why the blunder was so awful: roughly immediately, newscasters found and broadcasted archived films of her Bosnia arrival, which portrayed the scene as quite peaceful.

The lesson: Speak the truth. And when you are caught lying, admit your mistake, rather than saying--as Senator Clinton did--that  you "misspoke." Also, don't refer to a major error as a "minor blip," when that wasn't the case.

Criminal Defense Lawyers - What They Can Do For You

When most citizen think of criminal defense lawyers they think of high profile cases such as Scott Peterson, Casey Anthony, or even O.J. Simpson. When we think of these citizen we hope that we will never have the need for an attorney that they did, but the fact of the matter is that a lot of "everyday Joe" type citizen often have to call on the services of such a lawyer. If you have been accused of a criminal offense, chances are you will need the services of a lawyer to help you navigate the legal theory so that you can protect your ownership throughout the legal process.

Wondering who needs criminal lawyers? If you have been expensed with a crime and you will be going to court to face these charges, you need a lawyer? Why? So you can properly defend yourself. If you are not familiar with the court theory you will not be able to reply to the accusations that you are up against in an effective way. The supervene will be that you may be convicted of a crime that you are not guilty of. If you are guilty of the crime that you are expensed with, without a lawyer you may face a much tougher penalty than if you had one by your side in court.

When you are expensed with a crime you should start working immediately to find a lawyer to help you. You can give them the history of your case and they can start reviewing the facts to help defend you in court. If you are not guilty they can help you prove this, and if you are guilty they can help you come up with the best defense potential to lighten your sentence. For instance, a lawyer may be able to help you spend less time in jail, reduce fines, reduce permanent charges, and even help you avoid lengthy society assistance or probation.

A lawyer can just help you intelligently maneuver your way straight through the legal process, either you are guilty or not. When you are expensed with a crime you will be very emotional and chances are you will be very overwhelmed, which are things that you cannot afford to be at a time like this. When you have a lawyer working with your best interests in mind, you can relax just a exiguous bit with the knowledge that you have man who is familiar with the legal theory to help lead the way. You won't feel as overwhelmed and you'll be much more likely to get a good outcome of the whole ordeal than if you didn't have criminal law attorneys working for you.
